I have a set of 2016 Reba's and I am convinced they are rattling a little, as if the bushings were worn.

I note that TF Tuned talk about resizing, is this likely to fix this or is the solution new bushings?

Resizing is used to make the bushing larger to offer a fit that will allow a layer of oil to sit between the stanchion and the bushing.

A clean and lowers service might help. I also invert my bikes before riding them to ensure some of that tiny amount of bath oil actually has a chance to make it up to the top bushing.

Of I've not ridden one of mine for a while, the bushing can feel dry/loose but half an hour inverted always cures it.

TBH bushing wear in a decent fork like that isn't likely to cause a rattle. And not in isolation- if they were seriously loose you'd also probably be feeling a lot of notchiness in the travel as it'd not move smoothly. But there's other things that can cause a rattle or tapping, and they're old enough to want a service regardless- you'll probably find they feel better for it so it's a good investment to keep them happy.

Anyone that can work basic tools can do a fork lowers service, but tbh if you think there might be a fault it's generally worth getting the pros in- I can service my own forks and I do, but I won't necessarily be able to ID a fault, especially if it's a minor thing that's emerging...

Thanks, I can and do oil changes and the like, but probably worth someone else giving them a strip down and once over. It's not like I'll be able to replace them for the foreseeable with the current supply!
