Can't get my head round this so I need help please , I've got fox 36 forks with sram guide r brakes and 180mm rotor , I've now bought a hope 203mm rotor so which adaptor do I need to buy please .

If your guide r is running 180 without adapter its 180mm post mount fork which needs a Hope H or similar to run 203mm, basically an adapter for 183mm.

If you've got no adaptor at the moment, then it's a +20 fork, and you'll need something like a Shimano SMMA90F203PPM to make it work.

Thanks for that , is this an offset adaptor or just a spacer increase

Actually, if you're using the CPS (cup/cone washer) assembly on yours, then Sram make extended spacers for them, details of sizing are on Sram's tech site somewhere, but you're on your own finding it there 🙂

Hopetech has an easy to follow chart of adapters with pics you can download. Personally I like my adapters CNC machined rather than forged, your calipers will have a nicer preciser more stable platform to sit on.
