Had a couple hours in the rain at stile cop but a problem with forks stopped play. I noticed last time I rode afterc changing the travel to 160mm i would have the odd harsh bottom out on a drop of about 6 foot to flat.
So i added another 5ml of float fluid to the air chamber for today and set the sag to 30% again.
This time same drop I was bottoming again a few times I noticed then went down another run over a small foot high maybe drop and felt strange and a hard bang I was bottomed out going round the corner.
I noticed the forks was very soft and stood in the way I would set sag it was around 110mm of sag.
So the air has gone somewhere.
I'm going to order the air piston seals Monday morning when mojo open. But haven't heard of these being a problem since they swapped seal type a few years back.
When I took the air piston out to change the travel the seals looked fine but should they be changed everytime its removed? Mojo never mentioned it when speaking about adjusting travel.
Could the seal on the top cap need replacing as that has been removed a few times? Can't find these on mojo. Are they the o ring that comes in a wiper seal kit as I have one of these thinking it was a sag o ring on the stantion.
