I have a fox talas 36rc2 circa 2007 currently on it...wondering what I might be missing on the latest forks? I know these forks can't be serviced now as there are no bladders left..so when they give up what are people recommending
Lyriks,,,float,,,pikes,,,55cr

Lyriks or Marzocchi 55s if you don't have the dollar to drop on Pikes.
Avalanche cartridge for your 36s for far less than a new fork.
sorry wrong thread!

Eh?
I've some 2006 versions and hadn't realised I can't get them serviced.
But also to answer, I now run 2014 150mm Revs. They weigh less yet feel almost as stiff along with working just as well.
Im running Specialized E160s on mine as is Kevin on his Stumpjumper. Awesome fork and very light. He ran Lyrik 2steps on his Enduro before he gave it to Abigale. Abigale has Lyriks on hers which have been swapped from 2step air to coil uturn. Had some 36s talas rc2s but couldn't get on with them
Going to look into these optiond.i never use the talas bought as a 2nd hand pair years back...could these be converted to avalanche damper?
Also seen a 2nd hand pair od lyriks converted with rc2dh internals look pretty reasonable...any good?

Running 170mm X-Fusion Vengeance on my 2008 Enduro - they suit it very well - if you like it slack, which I do
