Anyone use it and what do you think of it? Worth it or just a marketing gimmick? also, how often do you apply it?
it smells ace. I have to refrain from licking the stanchions....
No idea if it works after a while....i got it free and just like the smell 😆
It's great. Really makes a difference to how smoothly your forks and shock work, particularly when they're new and prone to stiction. A quick squirt either after cleaning or before riding.
It also makes a great frame polish, stops quite a bit of mud sticking to it.
Definitely worth the money.
The Juice Lubes Brake Juice stuff is good too.
I use it and it seems to work well. It certainly gets a lot of crap out from the wipers and when I had the lowers off to increase the travel recently everything was very clean after around 10 months of using the forks including commuting off road all through the winter.
I've not compared it to anything else but a can lasts a long time, I use it perhaps once a week in the current weather conditions and maybe 2 or 3 times a week in the winter. That is though on a bike ridden off road everyday.
I use it, seems to do what it says it does. Job done
Added value bonus being you can use it to shine up your car dashboard and bumpers 😉
But yes it's great.
Mrs julian keeps winning fork juice at races so never needed to buy any: does anyone on here use generic/halfords silicon polish and is it really the same but cheaper?
It's great stuff. I use it after every ride. I try not to use it on the bike if I'm fettling indoors now though as even the slightest bit turns the laminate flooring into an ice rink. Mrs Zoo doesn't like that so much.

Yes
Apparently its not the same as 'other' Silicone sprays:Fork juice
I just bought some cheapo silicone spray and can't seem to tell the difference, except the 7 quid in my pocket.
Oh, and the smell. It smells like it could get you high.
almightydutch - that does make for some slightly interesting reading but essentially what they are saying is that it's just got more silicone in than other stuff out there... hmm.... think i might save myself some cash and get some cheap silicone spray from a motorspares shop.
That's what I thought.
You could just spray a bit more of the cheap stuff on your forks, job done.
Swoosh, I'm not saying its the be all and end all of the Silicone sprays, but at least I know it doesnt contain PTFE which a large % of the cheaper ones do.
Yeah it works fine, I don't know about the other cheaper products but I'm not going to bother wasting my time hunting down a couple of quid saving, it's a £7.99 product at the end of the day, and I'm using it on my £800 forks.
It contains aerosols which fork oil doesn't like very much so for that reason, I'm out.
I got some "Brox" fork stuff from CRC just to try as it's pretty cheap, tiny bottle, pumpy job rather than pressurised spray, does improve movement marginally... I imagine the fork juice stuff is pretty similar, would buy it again...
I think it's great and use it after cleaning my bike.
You pays yer money, you takes yer choice. It's still just silicone spray though.
Emperor's new clothes, I reckon.
Is 3 IN 1 silicone spray OK to use?
It smells lush
Lidl Silicone spray... Nuff said.
