I am in the middle of servicing my recon gold tk fork, i am at the reassembly phase and as per RS website i am trying to put 133ml of 5w in the damper side upper tube, however the leg starts to over flow at around 120ml am i missing something here

you have lifted the stantions to their upper position before putting the damping fluid in?

The lowers are still removed and the damping rod is fully extended

Did you measure the fluid you took out.?

No unfortunately as i thought the manual would be acurate, its baffling me

Shaft stuck.Chuck the lowers on.Pump them up to about 140 psi then try.
