Hi

Bit of advice needed ... currently have a Zesty TR and want something more burly or possibly swap fork out to improve the front.

So, would changing the fork to a X Fusion trace 140mm mess up the geometry or would i be OK ? Think difference is around 20mm A2C.

Failing that, maybe a codiene 29 is the way forward ??

Thanks

Is the travel too much at 140mm for the Trace on your frame? If so you could adjust the travel internally I believe? I have them running at 120mm on mine.

Pike is great at 120mm, got one on my 29er.

Zesty frame looks pretty solid but I never rode one, can you feel the rear end flexing or the chassis squirming under you then?

I swapped the Fox 32 ctd 120mm fork fixed to my 29er for x-fusion trace and it made a hardly noticeable change to the geometry but the improvement in terms of stiffness and extra travel was huge.
