You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So, today my new forks arrived. Well, new second hand forks. They're in OK condition, put some air in them and it holds the air well. So all good.
Stripped my forks out, got off the crown jobbie and installed onto the new forks... Excellent. Spent another 10 mins searching my spares for a 2mm headset spacer, which I eventually found, lovely... all done.
Fits the brake.... Eh ? WTF.... they're completely different.
Now I know there's Post Mount and IS mount.. but I don't know what can convert to what etc, so there's my question.
The new forks are the black ones.... the old forks I was taking off are the white ones.
What (if anything is possible) do I need to buy to convert the brake brackets to the correct fittings ?
Cheers.
