Hi

Can you fit a bike in the back of one of these with both rows of seats up and the wheels on the bike? If so what size bike?

My longest bike is a P3 privateer 161

Thanks in advance

The LWB connect in regular 2 seat configuration has a load space about 2m long, so removing a row a seats and a foot well from that is going to knock off at least a meter, probably more.

You could get a Brompton in with the wheels on 🙂

Not a chance with the Privateer. I can get a 24" Nukeproof Cub Scout + 20" Orbea Laugey in at the same time, but no way would my hardtail or Mega fit in with the seats up (full disclosure, I'm talking about a Berlingo, but I'm very confident the Connect wont be better)

Google says:

The Ford Transit Connect L2 Double Cab-In-Van (DCiV) has a load length of 1,061mm and a load height of 1,267mm. The load space length, measured to the bulkhead, is 2,152mm in the L2 van version. The load space width is 1,496mm at floor height.

So I'd say that's a definite no for the DCiV version....

A regular 29er goes straight in the L2 van with a few inches to spare.
