Looks good, maybe not quite as long as I'd like but finish looks great with lots of thought into certain aspects of the frame. And then of course there is the high pivot...

Have to say that I like the idea. Shame carbon puts it in the "can't afford ever" category.
I love the look of it and like the trial bike target. I'm a massive fan of high pivot designs, but the rear linkage looks exposed. Interested to see how long the lower shock bushings last, that said it has a nice little guard to cover over. Generally, it is all positive from me.
The price tag is off-putting - £3149.00 ex shipping, frame only. OoOOOoooFfFF. I know that is in line with SC money, but my Deviate Guide was that with the Pinion box, and custom items are less.
I'd love to ride one tho, that's for sure.

High pivots are awesome as well, my Supreme SX is a bit ridiculous.
My only slight resevation with high pivot systems, and why i’d Demo one before throwing money at it, is how the platform performs as a trail bike. As brilliant as my guide, and the SX i imagine, are. They are very much steamroll/plough through stuff bikes, which is great for a bigger bike, but for a lighter trail bike, I think I’d want something a little more lively I guess. The reviews seem positive though.

The MBR review alludes to this and seems a fairly balanced summary. Be interested to ride one but it would have to markedly better to surpass the additional noise and faff of having the idler.

Not sure if you mean that as a positive or negative, but it'd be positive for me at 5ft 7ish because the medium would be way too short in reach.

I just assumed it would be back to the old days of running a chain guide in the case of the druid, where the chain rubs at either end of the cassette and the jockey wheel where the idler ends up getting sticky from being coated in muck and grime during winter months.
More interested in the new Deviate although it looks like it won't be until summer 2020 that they will have the resource to get an XL out. Been waiting for a gearbox 29er that isn't a nicolai for ages.
I live in Cumberland and know one of the guys who's had one for a while. He is an experienced rider and loves it. The shop I work at PT is going to carry them so I will get some rides in soon. It is going to have to be pretty incredible to pry my ass off the Knolly Fugitive though.

The Supreme SX actually has very good pedaling efficiency, better than a Nomad
It's just a heavy old beast - but it is very easy to get on with up steep climbs.
HPP bikes are underappreciated but great, they feel like you're cheating when descending - and very few others have them, they're like a dirty secret that the rest of the world doesn't get.

They moan about "short" seat tubes on PB sometimes, lanky bloody Yanks.
The shorter the better for seat tubes for me...
It's a pity the XL is delayed in these frames, end of 2019 estimate for anyone thinking of one.
