Hi.

Just got a Forbidden Druid and wondered if anyone is using the space in the down tube to store tubes etc?

Cheers

I have a Druid and there isn’t much space in there.  I think you could squeeze in a tube but that’s all. It not as convenient as the specialized one either as there’s two 4mm Allen bolts to undo.  I don’t use mine.

Not sure if its the same size as the Dreadnought hole (assume they are as they seem to use the same cover?) but if it is I could get a Schwalbe Aerothan tube, 24g gas can, head, tyre lever & mech hanger in there. It was a fight however.

If you do, put it in a bag, as its a bit ‘swampy’ in there 😆

Also, It’s a pain to use (allen keys) but it’s better than nothing.

Like @hobnob said, I keep a tube and mech hanger in there. Life saver kit.

Annoying it has to be accessed by turning the bike over and using the tools to get into it. But better then not having it.

Cheers for the info. I was looking at it as emergency stash, seemed a shame to waste the space and bikes look better without kit strapped to them.
