Can you take one end on to see the clearance (or even better measure it)... Looks tight.

I ran a bonty chap in a boost 27.5+ reba for a bit, cleared fine on the stand but rubbed between the crown badly on the trails as the big wheels flex. This had about 5mm clearance from the knobs each side.

Little more clearance in the fox 34 27.5+ I believe.

Back to the magnums now as clearance is plenty.

If your keen for a change I have a rare 29+ boost pike available for sale from my stache... pretty much like new and plenty of clearance and stiffness 🙂

Does the tyre clear the crown on full compression?

That's good to know, RD.

I'm hovering over the Judy for a new build, but I'm likely to go [s]27.5"[/s], [s]650b[/s] plus.

Hmmm gee what price would you be looking for the pike... Just out of interest... Hmmm was looking for one of these but as you say quite hard to find! May have to sell something first mind you 🙂

3" 29+ bombolini fits happily in a Judy Gold, as does a 27.5 x 3.25 duro Crux
Mind you the 29 boost Judy is rated for both 29+ and 27.5+

destruction manual says you need a minimum of 6mm clearance from the arch to clear the fork crown on full compression
