Anyone use a foot pump instead of a track pump for their bike duties?
My mate lent me his for a try and seemed to work well, like this one. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Premium-double-manometer-HEYNER-Pedalmax/dp/B00TG7Q9VM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1530470836&sr=8-1&keywords=car+foot+pump
Bump for any thoughts?
Don't think it'd fit in my back pack all that well.
I used to use one occasionally when I couldn't find my track pump. No where near as good. Poorly made, less precise, probably about the same time and effort. No point IMO, unless you have some kind of back/arm injury maybe.
Yeah I'm with nickjb, I requisitioned a spare foot pump from my parents garage as my track pump died. Â Next day I went to Halfords and picked up a new track pump...
I only have one pump for the car and bikes (well actually 3, roadie track pump, mtb track pump and compressor), but I use the track pump on the car.
Half the advantage of a track pump is having the gauge at a readable height. The other half is it takes about 1/4 the stroke of a foot pump!
