He might get quite good if he sticks at it.
The half cab at the end is insane
Nah.
I don't like all the built jumps / trails / roost / skidz and schtick that goes with this style of riding and edit.
Impressive.
But nah.
Love it, I found the riding in some of his previous videos (the one in the old quarry building?) more exciting, but I love the fantasy landscape trail-building stuff, that's what I saw in my head every time I built trails, even if they always just ended up as yet another set of flakey berms'n'bench cut in the trees 😂
Edit: almost the exact opposite of MOaAbout then 😎
Each to our own
My 7 yr old's review "why does it keep cutting away like that? I can't see what he's doing. I don't like it."
Got to admit I think she's right, too much about the editing not the riding. Imo of course.
As always, it's just jealousy because I can't ride like that
oh i really don't like that editing. My attention span isn't measured in nanoseconds, thankyou. The riding is hugely impressive and so smooth it looks like it's easy (but clearly isn't) but I didn't enjoy that at all
Amazing skillz as always, but the tiktok stylee editor really should take his Ritalin.
Enjoyed that!
I hate the editing. I don't mind seeing multiple angles but I don't want them all the same time.
It's like a Hollywood movie when you're waiting for the big stunt and just at the money shot it shuffles through 10 different camera angles.
Ugh. 100% agree about the editing, what a nightmare to watch.
Amazing skills but for all I know he only landed half of them. The other half it could be the landing was spliced in cos he fluffed the trick. Maybe 3 times you see the full thing.
Much prefer something like this:
Can't believe the soundtrack choice - you called it Fools Gold.
You should've used Fools Gold.
good riding, awfully filmed and edited.

+1. dogshit editing for the Tiktok generation

Think it's more to do with how your brain processes visual information. I'm certainly not the tiktok generation yet the editing wasn't distracting to me. Certainly I've watched videos where manic cut scenes are very distracting but this was'nt it.
However I was primed to enjoy it by a bunch of grumpy old men on the internet who hated it 😄
Yes agree the edits are a bit much and detract from the riding. My fave BS video is the unreal one from a good few years back where he rides the entire (absolutely mental) jump trail without a single edit, so the complete opposite of this basically.
But there’s no denying his style, it’s just so effortlessly smooth.
That'd be this and yeah … perfection!
Well it’s impressive to see what they’ve done out the back of Nationwide at Swindon but the trails will be too busy now.
God, that is awful.
That’d be this and yeah … perfection!
great choice of soundtrack too. Nails the vibe
OMG that editing, was it done by the same person that did Taken 3 Fence Jump scene??
Feels to me like they thought Brage Vestavik's vid beat them in that comp last year because it was more glitchy and lo-fi and just tried to do the same.
Incredible riding and build though. Pity he does suffer from Brandon Semenuk fatigue from some viewers. Harsh, but I get it too!
Old moany people should just skip to 38seconds.
Yea the raw 100 series is so much better
Massively talented but yep the editing fried my brain a bit. That's just me being old though. I can't even play my xbox anymore because my brain literally can't keep up wuth it. Nothing to do with the riding though..he's fricking good.
Great riding. I'm on both sides of the fence with the editing. It works during the intro/build up and for some of the tricks like the tailwhip onto the boulder face and the flat 360 (where it adds to the understanding of exactly what he's doing) but elsewhere it's just an overused distraction. If have preferred more contrast between the choppy stuff and some longer riding sequences, but then I don't need to make a living from this stuff...
Did like the lens flares though. I'm a sucker for that.
