Gotta give shout out to the FOD trail building crew. The difference since i last went last year is amazing. New DH trails, new sections on old trails like the corkscrew, revamped free miners, loads of new jumps. Awesome job guys!

If only the same could be said for Cwmcarn which has not changed in a long time. Its a shame as the place has so much potencial.

Ooo, didn't realise the new free miners trail was open. What's it like? (the old one was a bit of a non event IMHO) Love Verderers! What's the corkscrew then?

New trails due at Cwmcarn before long, a red-ish DH trail and another xc loop on the north side of the valley. And there's some new stuff at Afan, so it's not too bad for trail centre types out there.

Oh, and a bike park being built at Myrthyr

there isn't a new Freeminers trail, there is plans for one, some work is being done on it, I guess the OP means the new berms and repairs which have been installed over recent months/years

The Freeminers just seemed more fliud than before. Perhaps my imagination. Great news about Cwmcarn. I love that place for the views and scenery. Its a shame they dumbed it down.

No such dumbing down at FOD, which is pretty gruesome in places. I think i was the only one there on a hardtail today. Overyone else had DH rigs!

They do work hard, so why not enter the raffle to help raise money for materials, etc.? All for a good cause and it is Christmas! 😀
