Afternoon!.
My FloatRP23 shock weeped when it was new. (came on a new frame)
I left it alone, as i know new shocks sometimes do for a bit while they
bed in. Its a year later and its still doing it!!
enough to collect dirt and grit around the base of the shaft within an hour of riding(s****)
Is it likely that a seal change will sort it, or is indicative of a bigger issue?
Is a RP23 seal change easy enough to do? (ive opened one up for an oil change and done forks before)
there is a small amount of float fluid the migrates out of the dust wiper which is normal any more then it has probably got a seal gone inside and you will need the nitrogen tools to re charge it my company www.southcoastsuspension.co.uk is only charging £79 with free postage this month
