Any reason why I couldn't do this? I want to get the front end a little lower and I've got a spare 10deg 90mm X4 stem kicking about. Granted it's a bit heavy (but probably not much more than what's already on there!).

I run one inverted on the cx bike....it survived the 3 peaks so it must be ok!!

I believe it says on there faq page that its ok to flip them.

fine to run them flipped for both road & mtb. i asked thomson direct a few years back.
