I've not used my Flickr account for a while and want to post some pics, just logged in and everything seems to have changed! How the hell to I find the image URL to post a picture these days? A step by step guide for an idiot would be very helpful. Thanks.
Click the photo you want to post, in the bottom right hand corner is an arrow point right. Click that. Links to various places are there, including the link which you can paste into the IMG code.
For example, it will be a shortened link... https://flic.kr/p/qGzJpk
The BBCode works as well, use that to post in a certain size image.
I haven't tried that option. Wonder if it works better than how I've been using it.

See I've never been able to get that to work. I can get it to work by copying the 'farm static' part of the address but not that shortened part.
So assuming OP that what Phil has shown doesn't work for you either, here's how I make it work.
You still need to click the 'share' icon, which is an arrow pointing to the right.
In the dialogue box click on either the 'HTML' or the 'BBCode' link. You will get long URL/coding lists appear in the text box.
You ONLY want the part that begins 'https://farmstatic....' It will usually be followed by a number (8 or 9 in my case) along with the rest of the address.
To illustrate, the image below needs the following:
You then past this into the IMG dialogue box on this site:

Why edit the BBCode link? Much better to post it all so folk can click to see the bigger picture

OP ignore everything I just said. Just copy the BBCOde and paste the whole thing into the IMG dialogue box.
Not sure why I never tried that/didn't know it worked, but clearly it does.

You dont need to paste the BBCode into the IMG dialogue box, just post it into the post text.It puts in the [IMG ] part for you.

I feel your pain trailhound - I used to have the same problem, always ended up posting those little squares showing a picture is located somewhere but not showing!
Not found a way to post from the mobile site, or the app.
I have to go to the full site if using a mobile, & grab the complete BBB code.
As below basically, from the photostream or album, select the pic so it opens, then the little button as shown in red below...
Then copy the complete code & paste the whole thing in to the text of your post...

Like Takisawa, I don't see the BB code in the Android app. There's a share button, but it doesn't take me to owt that says BBC. What do I do with a URL copy?
