Looking to 'soften' the back of my Kinesis Pro6 CX bike for a more comfortable ar$e whilst using it as a do it all bike...
I am running 35mm tubeless rear tyre (despite what I have read on here 40mm was too tight on the stays for my liking - when the 35 wears I will got to 37-38mm).
Saddle is comfy/flexy.
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive 27.2 seatpost that may have the goldilocks right amount of flex without being noodly? Would I actually notice Ti vs alloy?
Canyon double leaf/Redshift shockstop are out of budget (unless someone has one to sell).
Subtle design/not too heavy would also be appreciated (I can't bring myself to fit a thudbuster or similar)
Thanks
The USE one looks good.

I have a brand new Ergon that I never used (same as the Canyon one as Ergon make for Canyon), still in its box, that I would consider selling...
Even comes in different spring strengths and isn't outrageously expensive

Any carbon seatpost will be more flexi. I had a 27.3 giant one- it was so comfortable. I will recreate it on my next road bike
I think I have an Easton Carbon, with layback, and possibly a Trek carbon one also if you're interested?
A mate has thudbusters on his

^ found while looking up something else, interesting article / tests. Setback posts performing worst on a vertical-rearward deflection test.
I have a Niner RDO one - used with rub marks. Happy to let go for a good price.

Interesting article.
Damping vs deflection makes the decision harder!
Ideally more deflection for off-road, more damping for road, then adding a seat post bag may change it all...
The downside of aiming for one bike for fast-ish road rides through tame off road to bikepacking.
Maybe I need several posts to swap at the same time as the wheels?
