My Five Ten Elements are dying after a hard life so I got some DLX's to replace then but am gutted to find they are 1cm narrower across the ball of the foot, so useless for me. any recommendations for wider alternatives?
My wish list is- grippy sole, reasonably stiff and splash proof.
thanks.
Interested in this myself as despite going up a half size new Five Tens are also too narrow for me now 🙁
Giro jackets
There was a review for some new NorthWave shoes in the past few days.; The only downside to them mentioned was that they were a bit wide and might not suit if you had narrow feet. Worth searching them out??
here you go

Just got some current season Five Ten Freeriders and they seem wide enough for my freak feet.
For clipped pedals, I've used Northwave before because they were super-wide, but more recently they too seen to have become narrower. Have to size up a lot to get the breadth right.
Defo with looking at Northwave if Freeriders won't do.

Or Vaudes.
My feet are that wide regardless I kill the show by having muffin top over the sole
I love my Giro Jackets. They're much more comfortable than any other bike specific shoes I've had. Not as grippy as a Five Ten though.
I got some Bontrager flat Line shoes in for a customer with wide feet and they fitted him well and he's loving them , says the grip is great . Certainly looked like a well made shoe . MBR did a flat shoe test this month ( could be last month now ) and rated the Bonty shoes .

Five 10 impact vxi, come up wide, great shoes.
Thanks!
Are the 2019 Impacts wider than the Freeriders?
