Flat pedal shoes for shallow feet

Not sure how else to describe them..

My feet are normal width for their size (eu46/47), and not flat, but are apparently "shallow" top to bottom. Most of my trainer type shoes have lots of space above my toes and forefoot and it doesn't help on the bike. Cinching down is at best uncomfortable as the toe box rumples.

I've tried lots on but have struggled to find anything so am resorting to online shopping but need some options.

Are there any flat pedal shoes that would fit a foot like mine?

Ta,

S

No help with what to try but I've found insoles help reduce the volume, helps to fill the shoe and the laces don't pull together too much. It does have the drawback of making the sole feel thicker.

A lot of my shoes I have to use an inner sole in to reduce the volume.

Just a flat piece of foam under the original inner works. You can buy them in various thicknesses from Superfeet, I always buy XL and cut them down. Although I think they’re really expensive now so might look at just buying a sheet of the same stuff.

Thanks for the ideas. I already do that for lots of my shoes but find they end up a bit dead feeling. Was trying to avoid that where possible.
