Hi
As the title says I am building a bike from stuff lying around in my shed and after two days of googling I can’t find any adapters to fit my old xtr IS calipers to my Fugio flat mount frame! Does anyone in the Stworld know where I can get some? Thanks

I think there's a few eye watetingly expensive ones last I looked. Plenty of flat to post around though

It'll be cheaper and easier to buy new calipers....

There are loads of adaptors that will let you run post mount brakes on flat mount frames - Shimano, Aztec, TRP to name 3. As you have IS mount caliper you'd need an IS to post adaptor too.

It's adaptors that let you run flat mount brakes on post mount frames that are rare and expensive. Think it's just one Canadian company that does them. They do work though.

Thanks, I thought I’d try before buying new! At least I can go 1 x 11 or 12 now.

Not recommended for road forks though as it requires a minimum 180mm disc size which will make you LBS mechanic nervous.

Just to add I've spent this evening setting up an IS disc brake and I'd forgotten how much I hate messing around with spacers to get them lined up & not rubbing!

No - that’s for the old Hayes 22mm mount.

It’s this one:
https://www.assolutions.ca/

They provide a helpful template to help confirm it’ll fit your frame.
See if you have more luck getting in touch than I did. There was someone in the Uk importing them but when I enquired, they weren’t doing it any more (can’t remember who it was, sorry).

Thanks, think I’ll just put them away until a suitable frame comes along and put my hand in my pocket for som modern brakes!
