I have a pr of Mt Zoom flat carbon bars, that i would like to mount my tri-bars to.
The problem is that the area for clamping the stem is quite narrow, so if i mount the tribars at the appropriate width, the clamps are on the taper where the bar narrows down to its final width.
There is also a little backsweep that starts early in the bar, so the tribars end up not being parallel but slightly diverging.
Does anyone run a similar setup, nd found a bar with a wide straight clamping zone?
thanks
I've just done the exact same search and came up with only one option Salsa Salt flat carbon is the only option I came up with it has 140mm of clamping area and I can vouch that it indeed does. Its actually a nice bar. I got mine here
