Long shot here. Is it possible to still buy handlebars which fit the above description?
I'm trying to find something a little wider than the 550mm X lite bars which are currently fitted to my Orange Sub 3.

I might have a set of salsa bars that would suit you, if you're interested in used...
If you're really struggling then you could pick up a newer 31.8 stem for a few quid secondhand and have a load more bars to choose from.

...and no need to swap stems, 31.8mm clamp means less space for levers/shifters etc.
I deliberately switched to 25.4mm when 'CX'ifying my MTB as I wanted to go narrower (and lighter, obviously) and 25.4mm allowed me to move components further in.

I've used the SJS alloy bar, and it has a nice short bulge but is quite stiff to ride.
The ti bars are better. I use a Titec version, from way back.
