Have a new 29er and i'm finding my old bar and stem combo a little too high. Current Thompson stem is 0 rise so i'd like to try some flat bars before dropping into negative stem hights.
Any recommendations? Nothing over £50 if it can be helped.
Just got a set of Truvative Noir carbon flat bars really lovely bars with just the right backsweep
Ritchey Trail 2X flat bars are a lovely shape and pretty cheap. Got a spare if you wanted it.
Or, if you can find them, the Salsa Salt Flat's are very nice too.
Hi mboy, would be interested in taking the spare bars of you, just had a quick google and they seem like they'd fit the bill. If you want to email me ben.c.richardson@gmail.com to sort it out.
Thomson's carbon flat bar is really nice. Stiff and purposeful like aluminium and yet definitely not aluminium. Winstanleys have them for £60 sometimes although not at the moment
