Booked the Flanders Sportive, but as I expected all local accommodation to Oudenaarde is booked-up. Those that have been, how east is it to get from Ghent or Kortrijk to Oudenaarde? Any general tips you can share that would be helpful whilst over there? Cheers in advance

We used to stay at the Campanile in Gent. There's usually a women's team staying there and 2 or 3 men's pro teams in the hotel next door.
