The mineral build up on their feet from alkaline lakes can scratch your paint.

It's all to do with the fuel you put in apparently, run them on something else and the colour will change.
What would worry me though is they're not even great for croquet mallets so i imagine you'd struggle with using one for a bike.
Can I get 3 29ers, a tent and a work stand in one though? Without it splitting.
