I made the stupid error of trying to free up a stuck barrel adjuster on my winter road bike and snapped the **** off. Now a portion is left stuck in the frame, and a drill/extractor won’t work as the headtube gets in the way. Anyone got any clever thoughts for clearing the hole out? Not bothered about keeping the threads intact

Cut the cable, push it out and GENTLY hammer a Torqs bit in from the bottom and wind what's left of the adjuster out the top.
Should come out a piece of piss as it's winding your **** up away from the problem.
If you can get a small thread extractor to 'bite' and use a small adjustable spanner on the flats?
If you're not bothered about the threads just get a really long drill bit (might have to go to Cromwell or someone) of suitable diameter for either a cable end cap or an adjuster and drill out the thread to make a seat.
Thread extractor or torx bit is quite likely to burst the cable stop housing. Just done the riveted on ones on the GF's Orbea commuter. Burst one and had to make a new one from a bit of scrap aluminium. Then promptly snapped the thread on the other one. I believe there was some bad language at that point...
Or, alternatively, stick a full length outer on and one of these:
If the frame will allow it.
Thanks folks, some good ideas there.
Not convinced that a long bit or flexi kit will allow for a useful angle unfortunately but i'll have another look tonight. Might as well try going manual if the extractor will bite though.
If i burst the guide completely then I'll just grind it right off and use a stick on guide of some description, unfortunately the tube is far too big to get that Acor clamp on. Will likely just go to town on it and go full length outer (which isn't a terrible idea for a downtube routed winter setup anyway)
Can you get at it with a drill from the bottom? Probably it will unscrew once the drill starts to bite.
Yes but no, too much of an angle again as the downtube is in the way. Flexi extension might work a bit better from that angle though
