I'd give the brakes a blast with brake/carburettor cleaner or IPA then go for a test ride. What's the worst that could happen?

Ok ,so i am a chef and my ovens and stoves get greased up and whatnot ,so every night the junior chefs and kps bring it all back to silver ,so i was thinking oven cleaner (sodium hydroxide)works on steel -my rotors are steel- bingo, brushed some on wearing good latex(2 pairs)left 1 min, then washed off, using water from the boiler then sanded carefully using wet and dry. Same for pads but between washing and sanding gave 30 seconds of blow torch ,then rode home less than a mile and both wheels lock up(its wet) managed some lovely endo's as well JOB DONE .
