My current pair are size 8 but pre Adidas. My Adidas Freerider EPS are 8.5 as with most Adidas seem to run small. Is the general consensus size up as the sizing changed with the Adidas takeover?
I ran a 42 before and a 42 now.
I was 0.5 up in the Pro, compared to the EPS.
One full size up from my normal shoe/trainer size.
I'm half a size up iirc
🤷🏻♂️ I typically take an 8 or 8.5. Tried a right free rider pro on last weekend. 9, was OK lengthwise. Felt narrow.
Tried on an adjacent size 9 freerider DLX. Comfier.
Thanks all, sounds like .5 size up then.
At least a 1/2 size up on pre Adidas I'm an 8 in most things but am now somewhere between a slightly too short 8.5 and a too baggy, tall of heel 9.

Same.
I have narrow feet, same size as normal shoes.
Half size up
I wish the soles weren't so good. Pretty much every other shoe is better than a 5-10 apart from that grippy sole. I much prefer my Merrell GTX walking shoes - they're more comfortable and come in wider fits, they're warmer / cooler when you need them to be and they dry in a day - unlike 5-10's that even if stuck on a radiator for a week can still be soaking. They're also made out of awful plastics.
But them damn soles. They're great. So if I'm banging down a rock garden I want to stick to my flats. 🙁
My 5:10’s have all been size 45 apart from the Trailcross GTX’s that I had to have in a 46.
Adidas have always made the Freerider Pro. They didn't exist before Adidas bought 5-10.
"In November 2011, Adidas purchased the company for $25 million USD in cash."
Freerider Pro was first launched in 2017 many years later. It was only in 2017 that Five Ten was integrated into Adidas Outdoor after having owned the brand for 6 years.
