Wanting to get some from the Evans sale, but...

My freerider pro's I read reviews, went up half a size and they are perfect.

Trailcross GTX, I tried two sizes and went up a whole size to be able to wear sealskinz - again, ties in with what you read online.

I've read though that the Trailcross Mid Pro sizes BIG? But these are mostly reviews and posts from 2 years ago.

Don't really want to order 2 sizes and send one back.

Anyone?

I always buy at least a half size up on all Adidas shoes.

I’m 10 in Freeriders. Settled on 10.5 in the Trailcross Mid Pro. Couldn’t get any size of the GTX to fit me, weird shape.

Can't say for the gtx ones, but I'm 10.5 usually but took 11 in the trailcross non gtx.
Can comfortably wear a winter sealskinz sock.

Freeride size 10
Trailcross mid size 10
Trailcross gtx size 11 for me.

If you like the trailcross gtx I'd seriously consider the new Spech shoe instead of the Trailcross.
The soles have the same amount of stiffness but don't get holes in them after a couple of months use.

Not worn the GTX yet, but have gone with some standard Freeriders and Trailcross Mid Pro from Evans - for £36 and £54 respectively, can't pass it up. Will try Spesh next time maybe, although I now have 8 pairs of biking shoes, so won't be for a while - have some 2fo clips already (older model)

I very much dought that I'll be buying another pair of Five Tens again* after being converted to the 2FO Roost.
Lighter, stiffer, dry quicker, grip better and don't get holes in the soles within two months.

I have more bike shoes than Imelda Marcos and all the Five Tens have holes in the soles.

* apart from the GTX in winter.

9.5 in trailcross gtx to accommodate thick/waterproof socks, 9 in freerider pro, 9 in everything that fits normally.

Yeah, already sussed the GTX out and have a pair waiting to be used (size 10). Went 9.5 on the Trailcross Mid Pro based on my Freerider Pro's

Just sending a pair back as they are narrow

Which are narrow, the trailcross and holes, these sound poor? Build quality wise?

Mine came yesterday and I've got reasonably (not massively) wide feet. I went up half a size and they are fine. Yes I'd say they are 'fairly' narrow, but I don't feel cramped.

Never had an issue with the build quality of Five Tens

I thought I'd figured Trailcross sizing out having several pairs but the more recent shoes are narrower than they used to be and sadly no longer fit me.

Rode all day in my new pair yesterday, really comfy. Could have probably got away with not going half a size up, but at least will be able to accommodate some thicker socks
