Anyone got any experience with these? Im considering getting them as there cheap on the Five Ten website, are they a good all rounder good for XC also or does the ankle support restrict foot movement?

Hi,

Line Kings are good, the colours go down with a bit of use too
a bit of ankle protection is welcome, I ride XC in mine - if you find the height restrictive just don't use the top lace hole.
Not as grippy as the (Florence like*) 5-10 Impacts, but seem to have the same sole and grip as Barons.
Nice pedal feel through the sole.

Compared to Impact sizing they were bigger than I expected

I was considering these as I like a bit more support and protection around my ankles. Most rides involve a bit of carrying, too.

Ended up with the Tenne mids.... profile is the same as bike specific shoes, but a little more pronounced. Being super soft the rubber wears down quickly anyway. Also added benefit of being goretex.
