Hi all,
I've bought a pair of five ten kestral. Brand new..... £25.....the cleats don't have anything to screw into.
I knew this when purchasing but now deciding how to resolve the problem.
Any help appreciated!
Thanks
Can you post a photo of the base

That might be ideal if I can access the inside easily enough!!
Ive just checked our daughters, same shoe, you can take the insole out but then the cleat plate is covered in with some kind of moulding and then taped over. I assume to try and limit water ingress.
You could give Five Ten UK a ring and see if they can help you out.
They are based just outside Rotherham 01709 300 151
Thanks!
Apparently fiveten don't like to answer their phones and there's no answering machine..... 🙄
Have you checked the inside of your shoes, have the plates been removed (eg is there access to put new ones in) or is it a manufacturing defect and they've been sealed without them in?
I ordered some ex display AM9's last year and they didnt have the cleat plate in the shoe. They did come with a new sticker to go over it though, I rang the store and they sent a pair out, cleat plates are generic so anyone will fit anyshoe and cleat.
When they arrived I inserted them and then used gaffer tape with some heat reflective tape to cover the back of it.
I'll find out when they arrive tomorrow. Thanks all for the help!
