Where did it come from? Are they in general stock now?

I got it from J tech but I ordered it a while back. They are saying more stock mid next month. They were good though and kept me informed all the way through.

Should be a little trickier, but not much more so that a lowers and air spring service.

Also interested to know what it's like.

I've made a shaft clamp out of wood so I'm all ready to tackle it tomorrow when my new forks arrive. I know it won't be too difficult especially now I've got the clamp sorted.

You don't need a shaft clamp.
Hex key in top of piston head/spanner on foot nut.
Sorted.

11 mins in.

I've made the clamp as I haven't got access to a vice and wanted to support the length of it while holding the Allen key and spanner. But thanks for the link.

Interested in how it goes, i'm fitting one this weekend. Any thoughts on how it feels compared to the original?

Sorry guys I've decided to fit it to new forks which I'm also putting in a shorter air spring which hasn't been delivered yet.

Was watching some videos last night and not everyone finds it works all that well. One clown absolutely blathered the shaft in grease.

Its OK in longer 150+ forks but makes shorter travel pikes harsher.

Was going to try one myself but don't think it will fit my 2017 a1 pikes.

I never found the 2019 debonair air shaft any different for me so ended up altering the shim stack in the damper.

There is a version for the A1-A2 Pikes.

R2 Bikes have various lengths in stock.

This thread has spurred me into taking my pikes apart again. Regrease air shaft and alter shim stack on the rebound to more suit my ebike weight.

Finally got my new shorter air shaft so have fitted mine. If anyone is doing it to a newer style airshaft then there is no Allen key bolt in the top to hold the shaft while undoing the footnut. My little tool worked a treat, glad I made it now.
