[Closed] Fitting new rear cassette, mech, shifter and cable. Tips on getting it right pls

I have screwed on the cassette and hung the rear mech. Shifter on the bars and I have a new cable/outer kit (not fitted or cut yet).

Lets have you top tips for getting this up and running please..

It is when you first read it but once it starts to go in and you start working on the bike, it all starts to make sense.
There's nothing really complicated in fitting a cassette, mech, shifter and cables. Make sure you've got all the parts you need and the right tools before you start and it's a whole lot easier.
The first time you do it, it'll take ages and be a bit confusing, once you've got the hang of it you'll wonder why you thought it was difficult!

If putting on a new cassette and rear mech, also change the chain and middle ring.
