Ok need some advice tried to Google it but with no luck. Fitting a shimano bb and it has 3 spacers all the same now am I right in thinking they go on the drive side? But how many do I need ? It's 68 mm.

68mm means 2 drive side, one non drive, unless you are fitting an E type mech.

2 on the drive side and one on the other, I think.

For 68mm it's 2 on drive side and 1 on non drive.
For 73mm it's 1 on the drive side only.
