I have just bought an inbred 29er ser up as an off road touring bike. I'm loking for a rack that wont clash with the bb7 brake. Any suggestions out there?
Thought about soft luggage rather than a rack that can break?

Topeak Supertourist DX Disk
Tortec also.
There is a topeak disc specific rear rack (probably other brands too, i just happen to use the topeak rack bag system), it has a wide bracket where it bolts near the brake to space it out over the caliper. it can be a bit chunky for some brakes, but was fine on the Tandem we used for touring which had Avid BB7s.
Alternatively, i also used the non disc topeak rack off my commuter on the same tandem but just spaced out the brake side with some washers and used a longer bolt, that also worked fine.
I used a Tortec Apex which is adjustable but I would have prefered a fixed one such as THIS
They come with various length bolts and extra spacers so you can get the right fit for your brakes.
I have Topeak Explorer - they do 29er version in both standard and disc specific example. I have the disk one on my bike - easy to fit, works well...
Thanks all. That Tortex rack is very cheap! Is it any good?
We sell Tortec, not had any problems.
