[Closed] Fitting a power link to a fixie chain?

I've been buildng up my fixie project. Just waiting on some moustache bars to replace the drops and a brake cable to go for a test ride.

When fitting the chain I used the supplied power link, but wondered if the chain would be stronger using the chain tool to make a complete chain link.

I've had two chains snap on my fixed in about 3 years of riding it at least 100 miles a week. Both times it was a regular link that broke, not the connecting link.

Nice looking frame. You want to flip the stem though. 😉

I've got a dodgy back and am keen to try out the moustache bars. I seldom ride on the drops.
