HTH. I have 2 bikes with these cable/hose runs, no problem fitting at all 🙂
Excellent product as well, does what it says it will.[img] http://www.flickr.com/photos/26091960/12012561984/ ][img] http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5492/12012561984_7ee55938fc_c.jp g" target="_blank">http://www.flickr.com/photos/26091960/12012561984/ ] image by santarocky, on Flickr[/img]

I really like the idea of the mudhugger, but in practise it seems to be next to useless on my Mega.

It fits easily enough, and even with cable runs underneath the seat stays, it wasn't a hassle to get on. The problem is that the rear tyre extends another 3 to 4 inches beyond the end of the guard, so I still get absolutely covered in the finest brown stuff mother nature can provide.

It does manage to keep a lot of crud off the back of the shock and area where the swing link attaches to the seat tube, so I think it if were longer, it'd be much more effective at keeping my bum dry.

It's a shame they don't do a extra long version, as I'd be tempted to give that a go.

Speak to Bruce if youre not sure, really helpful guy.

Dan, they are doing an extender from what Bruce was telling me to fit onto the end. Not sure when it will be available but they have been testing it and pretty much solves your problem.

I have the same issue on my mega. My arse, back and camelbak were saturated with mud today on the chase. Admittedly it was foul up there but my mate used a standard crud catcher and was far less filthed up. It's not long enough to stop the all the crap flicking up from the rear tyre. It's not cheap either so I'm not sure I'd be happy forking out for an extender.
