I've got a old stumpjumper and I used to have the proper spesh arm mount, but that seems to have gone somewhere?
If anyone has one of them going spare that would be great.
The A2Z jobbies won't fit on the drop out, tried and its just a mess.
Torsion bars-
I think all the Hope ones have gone to retro bike heaven.
The woodman ones only seem to be in the states.
Then there's the Onza /rock&roll/tensile ones anyone tried them?
Any other suggestion? (I know a good V will lock the wheel - but its for a lad who has been spoilt by discs.)

there are some very good products to bond alloy to alloy now, but its not for me.
I used a rock and roll one for 2 years without issue and it is still being used on a mates bike 5 years later.
Not sure if you can still get them though......

Coaster brake. Its the only way.
I used to have one on my Klein donkeys years ago. There must be someone about with one at the bottom of their parts bin with obsolete parts like non-v-brake levers or a 7 speed freewheel.
A new frame. Its not built to take it, it probably isn't the best idea...

the frame will take an adaptor spesh made one, its just that they have dried up. looking for an alternative.
Keep an eye on ebay here and US.
I've got a BETD GT disc mount on my Zaskar. Might work if you have a particularly flat drop-out area.
It does involve drilling the frame though which you may not want to do.
I tried a DIY adaptor made from Alu, but I could never get it to be square.
I went with a roller brake in the end, which is fine for the rear.
The Specialized adapter is by far the best. Look much harder for one if those.
