Morning!
My Fox forks need a service not cheap at £119 with Silverfish but doesn't seem unreasonable. Is an upgrade to the FIT4 Damper worth it - another £244.95 - so over £300 in total, would I really notice the difference?
Thanks
What don’t you like about your fork currently?
Which Fox fork are you running?
2017 34's with the GRIP damper on a T130RS. The 2018 has the FIT damper, I'd like to get a bit stiffer compression but use the full extent of the travel.
I have a 32 CTD which I had upgraded to FIT4. It is an infinity better than the CTD, especially in the descend setting give more support to push off and firmer through the travel (lots of adjustment as well) However I felt ripped off because I had to pay another £200 (on offer at the time with a service) to get the fork how it should have been when I bought it. Also it is still like an over cooked noodle.
So, with that in mind, save you money to buy a fork not made by Fox. £363 will go a long way towards that.
