I'm going to enter an XC race this Season, the last one I did was in 1991 - pretty sure I DNF'd, hence the 23 year gap 😉
So I'm 38 and definitely fitter than in '91 - what category should I go for?
Fun?
Masters?
Open?
Suggestions of Southern / South Western races also gladly received!
Thanks

Open is a good place to start!
Southern XC races are very good.
Start with Open
Open for sure, masters can be obscenely fast 😯
Short notice, but here's a race to look at;

Run by some fine people from That Salisbury! 🙂
Is there a 'Breathless' category ?
🙂
Fun*
I'm almost top 50!*
*out of 81 😐
Thanks folks, open sounds good
Any particular southern xc rides to look out for?
The Southern XC series is 5 races spread over Hampshire/Berkshire/Dorset. Good events. First one is this weekend.
