I'm considering giving HONC a go this year.
Looking at the 50km route.
Thinking rigid or HT 29er 1x10 or Rohloff.
Growing up not far from Winchcombe and now living in the flatlands of Suffolk I miss hills - I can safely say this now!
So what are your hints, tips, experiences?

Done it on my turner 5spot, done it on my CX bike.
It's a nice day out. Hammer round or take it easier and enjoy the views. The cakes at the halfway stop are lovely
You need to be on the website as soon as entries open. They go really quick!

Do you have an entry? If not then it's too late. Entries opened on the 9th January and sold out on the same day.
