... I felt tired but I was still able to put some power down and have a good ride. Kept up with my mate too, so it was a nice ride.

However, I got back on the bike for a pootle to the station a few hours later and OW MY ****ING ARSE! Jesus wept, it was sheer agony. I never had a sore arse like this even when I was a beginner. It's gonna be a long 6 miles home standing up!

Ow! It really is amazing how quickly my sit bones lose their conditioning.

Mtfu. Your sit bones wont toughen up if you dont use them. So sit yourself down.

Currently conditioning mine on the sofa. 😀

I'm getting back into it after most of the past eighteen months off the bike-my arse is not a happy place 😳 I haven't kept any power or fitness either 😥

I had my first ride in 7 months last Sunday, I didn't do a bad job, managed a long road climb and enjoyed the downhill into the town. I've been off it far too long and it's good to be back. Arse hurt a bit like... 😉

Padded shorts will be your friend.

Glad you had a good ride though.
