Jawbones were the best fit in the shop.
First impression was that they made me feel as if I was sitting high, that soon went.
Then I got neck ache. This has always been the problem, the glasses always drop so I'm either looking through the top of the rim or over the tops. I kept propping them up and that made them fine.
What can I wedge in there to narrow the bridge so they sit higher?
And rear and side vision is reduced, I can't see me racing in these.
Oh and potholes were harder to spot.
But they did keep out those pesky little flies, they stopped me twice a few weeks back.
Jawbones normally come with 2 sets of nosepieces - one narrow, one wider. Have you tried switching them round to get a better fit?
oakleys should neither slip that much or distort your vision. in fact the latter would make me a bit suspicious of their origins tbh. the former could be corrected with those tie things. for road riding probably proper riding specs are your best bet because you tend to look 'up' more than you would normally. look at spesh and shimano. i've used the spesh ones extensively and found the adaptalite ones very good for most conditions.

I just thought they were spares, I'll try those.
As for feeling a bit high, that just lasted a few moments and I have needed reading glasses over the last three years?
I didn't want to use those head grip things, wont they squash them against my head?
Sadly, my mate put some calipers on my nose and the bit where the glasses sit is just about 5mm which is very very narrow.
Happy in general though.
Clear or a colour for cross racing?
Oakley radar with XL blade lenses. Works for me.
Hmm I found the jawbones awesome. Really really pleased with them. HorsEs for courses I spose.
Just fitted the extra nose pads, sorted 😀
Did you get them in white? Did you ignore the shop staff when they said hello? Is it true you have to put on a glum face, otherwise they won't sell you them?
