Just had a quick half an hour ride on my new Giant talon 1 29er, just around a few hills in Langholm, Scottish Borders. Very impressed at how it just rolls over stuff so easily and keeps speed aswell, didn't get to do any trails as there is still lots of snow/ice and mud everywhere, but hopefully going to Ae in a few weeks for a proper test. First ride for 6 months and I'm back in love with riding again!
Same here! New bike out, got to my local woods hit deep slush and slid to a not very pretty halt. So not really sure how my 29er is yet but when this snow has done one I'll be trying again. I'm getting a bit impatient!!
Me too - way to much slushy snow in Grizedale to prove anything other than my stupidity trying to ride. Hopefully it will thaw out in a couple of days!
