Not sure how bad but apparently no-one hurt.
That 96bcd really did get to some people

That 96bcd really did get to some people
🙂
It'll be some local crank.
Think the police are on the scene, the DI too I expect...
It might be the Fishing part of their business rather than the Cycling components. Either way, I'm sure they will be reeling from the damage.
Yumeya thinka thisa is a disaster, but I’m sure they’ll bounce back
Well played Martinhutch.
Floods are better if you want a bargain afterwards #crcfloodsalebargains
Rickmeister, excellent work there.
I heard the next XTR was really hot, but...
...oh forget it, way out of my depth here
Hope they take e-steps to make sure it doesn't happen again
Clearly no ice rotors manufactured in that building.
Apparently it started out in the basement and quickly engulfed the upper floors.
a rapid rise, if you will...
Nothing like a factory fire to derailleur business, hope there's not too much damage.
Oh Deore.
That fire will ensure there is no brake in production.
A srambulance was seen leaving the scene....
They'll soon fix that, it'll be alfine in no time.
Tha arsonist who started the blaze is said to be in SLX-tasy.
Wonder if that footage was filmed on a digital SLR?
pheonix...shimanos answer to eagle
ill get me coyt
SLX-tasy
XT-sy, no?
Rickmeister, they're so big they have their own police..... The SPD.
Nasty, hope the firefighters have all the gear. Turn the pumps up to 11.
They've confirmed that it was started by a spark in an electrical system. It's nothing to worry about, that was just a flash in Japan
They'll be back to normal soon, it will be Alfine again.
Oi! Epicyclo, read the other posts first! 😀
Manager talking to the police at the scene...
I guess the shift foreman's advice to leave the centre, lock everything, is international standard practice but he said I'm no saint... at the end of the shift, er indoors wants me take steps and get home sharpish...
He said he was going to have a drink on the way home but couldnt handle bars at that time of day, leaves him feeling hollow, techs too long as well. Alcohol also made his head race and speak xtr fast for some reason. Mumbling something about being an ex-tea drinker, or a jockey... wheel never know.
There's always something to derail yer plans for getting off work and home early.
Looking back though at the burnt factory, its nothing more than a Black Box now....
No doubt the Shimano Police Department will be engaging their brains and discussing this at length.
Bravo rickmeister
