Weight 22.1kgs. Ouch. That's more than a 10 year old Dh rig

Be a decent pub bike that. Singlespeed it, change the tubes and tyres, and it would prob be alright on the trails.

Be interested to know if you could shape one of them up with a parts-bin treatment - could see trying this and you find that it's got a lot of weird measurements, like a 1.4 inch headset or something.

Long thread on mtbreview on the walmart fatbike ($200) and what it took to make it rideable - it was a long list, tbf.

I picked it up yesterday and nearly broke my back, don't know about the claimed weight but felt about the same as picking up two on one fattys in one hand!
Looked okay but wouldn't touch it with a barge pole!

It's a £299 bike that was overpriced to start with. I've looked at one in store and it's horrific.

Says the man who thinks being timed less than half the distance round an XC route is the pinnacle of the sport 😛

"Hi Tensile Steel" seems to be code for "Takes two to lift it"

It would be an ideal bike to go in the back of the shed to simulate having been through through the fat bike thing, with out the inconvenience of actually riding one

As a bonus you could lock other bikes to it.
