It’s a big birthday coming up for me in April and my wife has suggested taking me away for a long weekend (fri to mon).
My first thought was Finale as always appealed with the mix of beach and biking and hopefully will be a nice temp then?
I know there is full on stuff there but looks like there might be some tamer stuff over in the Manie area which hopefully would be ok for my wife? She enjoyed the stuff off the Serraussaix lift in Morzine like Soylent green and stand up high patrol to give a feel for her level.
Any recommendations for bike hire places?
The big curve ball is the coronavirus of course. Doesn’t look like Finale is off limits now but who knows? Would you look elsewhere? If so any suggestions for early April?
Although Finale is pretty close to the quarantine areas and above the PHE self-quarantine line. I would be checking the travel insurance small print carefully and also prepare for the possibility of spending a couple of weeks in a quarantine town if things worsened.
My mate was booked for finale next week, his employer have told him he's not going.
Whether they can do this or not, I dunno, but he's toeing the line....

Hmmm, guess that might throw a spanner in the works then. We’d be leaving our two girls with my dad for the weekend so couldn’t really afford to get stuck there if lock down happened when we’re there.
Shame. Might have to work on a back up plan, perhaps keeping a last minute deal option open if the CV situation looked to be resolving in Finale
