Anything else to watch after this? I've seen Where the trail ends which was OK but not really similar to Won't back down.
Three minute Gaps would be a good un
Reach for the Sky with Cam Zink and The miserable Champion are both similar to Won't Back Down. 3 Minute Gaps and The Tipping Point are also good movies.
Not Bad is also rather good
Won't back down 2: This time i really a not going to back down, not even if they offer me £100M for a 3 film trilogy prequel / sequel deal.....
😉
Is wont back down good? How much a documentary, how much riding footage and how much just archive footage of Steve Peat getting wasted?
Won't back down is awesome imo, if you know the whole story it's very nostalgic and does a bit deeper into some of the protagonists involved at the time, there's a bit of the drinky stuff, but so much more as well, rivalries, off track stuff, lots of old footage, almost no new stuff.
If you got into mtb last week, it tells you why Steve is loved as much as he is
First time I watched it, my living room got a bit dusty.
Brilliant film

Yep, well worth the fiver from Amazon i picked it up for.
Won't back down is also a history of wc dh.
The cam zink flick, maybe I was just tired or disappointed that despite advertising the screening post rampage a day that he was 20mins away he didn't make an appearance but... Old go pro looks awful on a bug screen, the time line and editing is all over the place. The redeeming bit is him putting the boot into the bike industry for a lifetime of broken promises. Also at one point we were expecting a pov cam of his baby arriving - strange film

Never heard of that before, just finished watching it. We'll worth a watch, very interesting and quite in depth into the roots of mtb origins!
On films you'd like to see made - Would love to see a film on Dave 'Cully' Cullinan. Amazing on a BMX, MTB and motocross bike. Burst onto the DH scene with an amazing run at the Bromonmt worlds, showed MTB'ers how to jump, was always the first to send the big gaps - when even riders like Lopes were coming up short. Suffered from heart problems at the top of his game but came back to race again. Always loved his style.
